Animals: 85 weak piglets (5 weeks old) identified from a group of 618 weaned piglets
Duration: 1 month

Results:

• 80 of the 85 weak piglets recovered normal feed intake by Week 6 and achieved growth comparable to healthy piglets, allowing them to return to standard nursery pens.
• The remaining 5 more severely weakened piglets recovered by Weeks 8–9 and also returned to standard nursery pens.
• Ultimately, all 85 piglets regained normal health and were successfully marketed.
